We are off to a great start of the LAST QUARTER of third grade!!!! My how this year has flown. The kiddos are working hard and starting to apply things we have learn all year independently this quarter. I have enjoyed speaking with you all at conferences and celebrating your child's accomplishments in third grade so far.
Our field trip to Oak View Historical Park is next Thursday, 4/6/17. Please send a disposable packed lunch and drink with your child. We will leave the school promptly at 9:30 and return by 1:00

Please remember that Ollie Fest is coming up on April 7th. It looks to be a fun day and packed with great activities for the kids.
Field Day, Ottercise, is coming up on April 18th. Note from Mrs. Sammons:
Superhero Field Day Parent Information. There are water events, students are not required to participate if they do not want to get wet. NO bathing suits, but please wear appropriate clothing. STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE A CHANGE OF CLOTHES CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN WATER EVENTS. Teachers will be making sure students have a change of clothes before beginning the events and no phone calls will be made home to get items. Students without sneakers/tennis shoes will not be able to participate in most events. Please apply sunscreen at home, it cannot be brought to school. Water bottles, sunglasses and hats can be brought, but it is the student’s responsibility to keep track. There will be a water station for water breaks and to refill water bottles.
