I just have a few notes to share. We are one quarter way through the third grade- that is a celebration! I look forward to meeting with you all in conference during the upcoming weeks.
October is Bully awareness month. We will participate in school wide activities and will celebrate kindness all month! Please have your child wear blue on Monday, October 5th to support anti bullying.
Books are NEEDED! Project Enlightenment is partnering with Oak Grove to collect books for boys and girls who may not have books in their home. You may bring your donations to the collection bins in our lobby from September 28th through October 9th. Thank you so much for your generosity!
Thank you for the many donations for our classroom store. All the students got to buy fun school supplies with their earned points. This ties in wonderfully with our economics unit. We will about needs and wants and opportunity costs. Oh boy, there were some hard choices that had to be made. Thank you for helping to make this a successful venture in our classroom.
