This week we start the end of the second quarter MClass assessments (the running man data sheet). The students have been working hard the first part of the year learning to support their thinking with text evidence. I am excited to see their growth! This week kids will be excused from class for various Mclass assessments so I will primarily teaching in small rotating groups. This way their time in class in maximized but no one will miss instruction.
Please check the calendar for upcoming events. When we return from the winter break, we will begin timed tests for multiplication and division mastery. Flash cards make a great holiday gift! Likewise, students will be expected to tell time and elapsed time with a face (analog) clock... watches are a wonderful gift for your little one too!
