The end of the year is near and soon your little ones will be 4th graders. They are an amazing bunch of kiddos that have worked hard and grown so much this past year. I want to give you a little bit of information before EOGs.
Testing days:
- Help your child off to a great start by have a calm and positive morning before the test. Lay clothes out the night before, have lunches and book bags packed before bed.
- Please have your child to school on time. We start at 9:20 promptly. Late arrivals will not be admitted to the testing room.
- Breakfast is offered FREE to all students testing. We will be testing on Tuesday and Wednesday. Your child may get breakfast upon arrival. If your child is eating at home, avoid sugary foods. High protein foods are great for testing days.
- Your child will be offered a snack during a testing break. Thank you to all the parents that are donating snacks for us!
- Talk to your child about your positive expectations for them. I tell the kids that the test is just like what we have been learning and working on all year. This is their chance to shine and celebrate all that they have learned and accomplished.
Other News:
The school has testing all week. Teachers may have lunch in the cafeteria or the classroom. This is probably not a good week to come in to eat with your child. Regular lunches will resume during the last week of school.
